Most of our families use some form of government funding. Here's what's available in Wales and how to combine it with paid sessions.
Our prices
Cardiff and Newport charge exactly the same, including a one-off £100 non-refundable registration fee. Meals, snacks and all activities are included.
Worked examples
Funded hours are deducted from these rates. The £100 registration fee is paid once to secure your space.
We accept the 30 hours Childcare Offer for Wales, Tax-Free Childcare and childcare vouchers at both settings. Message us for wrap-around options or discretionary discounts.
*7:00am Cardiff only (7:30am Newport). We are open Monday to Friday except bank holidays and our Christmas closure, between Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
As a non-maintained early years setting, our Newport site offers up to 10 funded education hours per week during term time. This is available for all children attending two or more sessions per week residing in Newport and surrounding areas.
Both nurseries offer Childcare Offer hours during term time — 20 hours a week in Newport and 17.5 hours a week in Cardiff — rising to 30 hours a week during the school holidays.
In Cardiff and Newport we offer up to 12.5 funded hours a week in term time for eligible 2–3 year olds. Paying parents can book a year-round place and Flying Start sessions are deducted from the invoice. A limited number of completely free term-time places is available, with a waiting list.

Food & mealtimes
Both kitchens hold a 5-star food hygiene rating. Meals are freshly prepared on site, and food is part of the learning too — children help grow herbs and vegetables in the garden, pick them, and cook and explore with them.

Cereal and toast, with milk or water.

Fruit and oat biscuits.
Lunch
Home-made lasagna with broccoli.
Afternoon snack
Berry fruit salad.

Homemade muffin pizzas with carrot sticks.
Menus run on a seasonal rota and are changed each term. Ask us for the current menu when you visit.
We cater for allergies, intolerances and cultural, vegetarian and vegan diets. Every allergy is recorded on an individual plan agreed with you, shared with the kitchen and the room team, and reviewed regularly.

Fees are still charged for sickness absence. We follow Public Health Wales guidance on exclusion periods, so we'll let you know when your child can return.

Yes. Ad hoc hours or sessions can be requested through the nursery app and are approved by a manager subject to availability and capacity.
