What to expect
Newport families tell us the forest school is what makes the difference. There's a mud kitchen, a fire pit, a compost toilet and space to build, dig and balance in all weathers.
The children grow vegetables and herbs in our garden, pick them for the kitchen, and help look after our chickens — learning where food comes from, in Welsh.
Inside, bright rooms for babies from birth, toddlers and preschoolers run to calm, predictable routines with caring staff who know every child well.

- Rooms for babies, toddlers and preschool - up to the full 30 hours childcare offered in term and holidays.

Toddlers spend much of the day outdoors — digging in the veg beds, feeding the chickens and mixing potions in the mud kitchen.

Preschoolers take part in weekly forest school sessions, from fire-pit cooking to tool work, alongside early literacy and numeracy through play.
