Wibli Wobli Newport
Our spacious nursery site in Newport is located just off the M4 Junction 28 and close to the A48. There is a baby room floor upstairs and toddlers and preschool downstairs. There are two outdoor areas with a smaller free flow garden and a huge forest school outdoor space.
Babis - Baby Room
Our Babis room is for babies from birth to 2 years.
Our Babis room is a lovely large space with lots of natural light from windows all around the room. There are lots of different areas to explore, including a cosy cwtsh area, kitchenette, small world area, artist corner and separate sleep rooms.
All our babies share a separate dining area and changing rooms. Babies also go on regular walks to Tredegar Park and the surrounding areas in our maxi buggies and can explore the dedicated baby area outdoors in our nursery garden.
Plantos - Toddler Room
Our Plantos toddler room is for our toddlers aged 2-3 years.
Our toddler room has lots of opportunities to learn and play in a mini home-from-home environment. There is a sleep room area and snug reading corner, hours and home corner, construction area, small world play and an outdoor play area.
This room provides a caring, play-rich space for children in our toddler nursery in Newport, with plenty of opportunity to build confidence and independence.
Cyn Ysgol - Preschool Room
Our Cyn Ysgol room is for our preschoolers aged 3-5 years.
There are plenty of opportunities for our pre-schoolers to learn independence and explore the world around them, including a bistro self-serve dining area, sand room, woodwork corner, house and home corner, creative art section and outdoor play area.
We are a non-maintained education setting offering the free childcare offer education hours (up to 30 hours per week) and follow a dedicated education program under the Curriculum for Wales. Our preschool room in Newport supports children as they prepare for their next steps with confidence and creativity.
Tu Allan - Outdoor Area
Children have exclusive access to both our nursery garden and forest school area.
There are lots of opportunities to explore nature and the outdoors with our mud kitchen, vegetable patch and greenhouse, water play, music wall and forest school area.
Plants are designed to give sensory experiences to our Wibli Woblis, from herbs that smell like curry to sweet peppers, peppermint and our T-rex plants.
In our nursery garden there is a free flow area where children can access easily and a separate dedicated baby area for our Wibli Wobli babies. Our forest school area is a large additional space for children to explore.
Exploring outdoors is a key part of our learning environment and one of the reasons families love our outdoor nursery in Newport. It’s full of real-world learning, open space and natural discovery.
