We are looking forward to the New Year and have lots of exciting plans ahead. We have carried out a thorough review of our practices and procedures ready to implement them in 2024.
This year we have a new learning program based on the Curriculum for Wales and are promoting more independence through child-led activities and self-service.
New Staff Member
We have quite a few new staff members starting this year as our numbers have grown. We have full time qualified practitioner Hannah (L3), part time practitioners Khrystyna (QTS) and Olivia (QTS) as well as Elin (WTS) who has joined us full time after previously running some of our holiday clubs. Two new part time practitioners Sara (L5) and Caitlyn will also be joining us soon.
We are also very excited to announce our new cook Kelly who will be developing our new Spring Menu very soon and will be doing some regular cooking activities with the children.
Our First CIW Inspection Report
We are delighted to announce our first inspection report. We achieved ‘Good’ across all areas, the highest score that can be achieved on a first inspection (we aim to sustain our good practices over time to be awarded with Excellent). We are also now officially a service providing the ‘Welsh Active Offer’.
A huge thank you to all staff for all their hard work, especially Molly who is so passionate and dedicated as manager, and also to our whole Wibli Wobli extended family, children and parents.
You will no doubt notice our brand new flooring in the main play area (with a local business Your Floors and More) and in our staff room, store room and entrance way (with a local business Rob Santwris Carpets). We absolutely love the results and can recommend both businesses !
Parent Notices
We will be doing a junk modelling project in preschool. If you have any spare junk items around, especially toilet roll, please bring them in for the children to use on their project. Diolch yn fawr !
Toddlers will also be doing some nature walks in the local area to collect natural resources for the setting. Check your permissions section in Famly as we will be adding a permission slip for your consent.
