August 3 – 10 is the National Eisteddfod festival and we will be doing our own mini Eisteddfod at Wibli Wobli. This year it is being held close by in Pontypridd, South Wales.
Activities include:
crafts (from foot print leeks to decorating castles)
music (performing Welsh songs and dance routines)
cooking (traditional soup and Welsh bread)
Parents and carers can also get involved with a Welsh culture item competition – entries will be judged and prizes awarded at the end of the week.
Cooking with Calyse
As part of our Eisteddfod week Calyse will be cooking with some of our parents and carers and their children. All Wibli Wobli families welcome.
We will be cooking Bara Brith (traditional Welsh fruit bread). Iym Iym !!

Early Years Education Setting
From September 2024 we will be offering the 30 hours to eligible 3 and 4 year olds, including 10 education hours, allocated as 2 hours per day.
Our Preschool Room Leader Amy will be putting together an exciting Curriculum for Wales program starting in September.
